Post WinRar 5.50 - Windows cant unzip password .zip files
on:  20180203

After buying WinRAR in 2010 and using it daily , I just bought WinRAR 5.50 in appreciation of the product. My most critical use is posting password protected security reports for banks as https:// downloads. I can't find a setting that allows my customers to unzip the password protected .zip files with their Windows-7 built in zip file function. They just get some error message. I have played with it on my own plain Win7 pro computer and I can't find a setting that works for unzipping on Windows 7. I have gone back to my 2010 version pending a solution. Is there a setting to make this work and a way to make the setting as my default ? I can't afford to have this be a problem for customers if I miss some click when I zip a report.

There are two versions available, a 32 bit and 64 bit. Will the same WinRAR.key work for both? I am currently using the 45 day trial version of 5.0 64 bit. But, I will want to install WinRAR on 2 computers, one is a Windows XP x 32 bit notebook and the other Windows 7 x 64.

    Thank you for your time.

Will WinRAR 3.93 x86 (32 bit for Win 98/NT) do me for my MS Vista Ultimate OS Selwyn?
